Textiles in the incinerators

End-of-life textiles often end up in incinerators, valuable raw materials, water and energy are lost; a lot of CO₂is emitted and superfluous use is made of polluting chemicals. In the Benelux, 285 million kilograms of end-of-life textiles are currently disappearing annually on landfills or in incinerators.
