Transparency through digital support
Implementing a circular textile concept in your company doesn’t have to be complicated and time-consuming. Especially if you have the right partner to support you. Wear2Go provides a tailor-made holistic approach that takes into account all the aspects of support.
This includes the availability of a digital platform for the required transparency, traceability, and upcycling options.
A digital material passport linked to an RFID chip and QR code attached to the garment facilitates this information. Together with the innovative Tunnel Disassembler, based on Electro Magnetic Energy technology suitable for very large industrial volumes, Wear2® Ecostitching Technology offers a sustainable textile solution with a circular perspective.
Digital support
Digital support, provided by the Wear2Go.materials-exchange.com platform, linked with a tag on the garment creates the possibility to recognize circular workwear even through the current post-consumer collection at the end of the first lifecycle, enabling the circular processing process to continue.
The selected textile processing industry also has access to essential information on disassembly and the recommended/agreed follow-up route for the created monomaterials and accessories.
Circular applications
Meanwhile, a limited part of commonly used textile types and blends are suitable for circular applications. The expectation is that more and more types of textiles will become suitable for high-quality processing.
The various options and possibilities are registered through the supporting and dynamically built digital platform Wear2Go.materials-exchange.com.
As soon as it becomes possible to process a textile type in a high-quality – preferably circular – way, this information will be immediately shared through the platform so that we can make a financially interesting and most sustainable choice together.
By this method end-of-life textiles will transform from waste to financial value. Instead of costs, it becomes a circular investment.
Additional benefits of the digital platform
- Provides insight into the applied raw materials.
- Life Cycle (LCA) and Environmental Impact analyses.
- Return advice.
- Tracking & tracing in textile waste processing.
- Upcycling advice/possibilities for Brand/Retailer/Producer.
- Control of the management system (PLC) Tunnel Disassembler.
- Monitoring the continuation of raw materials.
- Upcycling options for created pure monoflows with the chance of future value creation.
- Through a QR code, with information from the platform, Brand/Retailer/Producer has opportunities for direct communication with the physical user. This provides an excellent opportunity to improve the sustainable brand experience and will contribute to the continuation of sustainable textile raw materials with well-balanced return campaigns.
Registration
Workwear designed and produced according to the Wear2® Circular Protocol is suitable for circular reuse and is eligible for registration, support, and follow-up via the Wear2® Platform.
Wear2® Circular Protocol is driven by conclusions and recommendations gained during the European INTERREG-CircTex project, which has taken groundbreaking steps in the development of circular workwear.
Because this system offers actual perspectives for circular solutions and possibilities, support and assistance are expected from Brands and Retailers to avoid greenwashing together. This requires respecting a few rules that are laid down in a license agreement.

RFID Technology
Wear2Go supports partners who want to join in on the technology by offering guidance and digital support (through platform and RFID technology). This is beneficial to all stakeholders in the textile industry, as it supports the circular economy and avoids further nature and environmental damage of the planet.
