Wear2Go strives to disassemble as much discarded textile as possible using Wear2® Ecostitching Technology. By separating textile types, monostreams are created, enabling further sustainable processing.
What if the textile doesn’t yet meet the desired goal of circular closed loop?
Unfortunately, there are cases where returned clothing can be disassembled thanks to Wear2® Ecostitching Technology, but some textile types are not yet suitable for high-quality recycling. In some cases, downcycling is still an option so that the textile doesn’t end up in an incinerator.
But what can we do with these textile types then?
In some cases, a part of the fabrics can still be transformed into granules that, when combined with recycled plastic, can be used to create various sustainable products.
