A NEW INNOVATIVE EVENT

After a long period there was finally an opportunity for a circular textile event

CIRCULAR TEXTILE DAYS

A completely new and ground-breaking event entirely devoted to the promotion and optimization of circular textiles.

Important delegates from the textile supply chain were therefore represented and explained their contributions.

All European CircTex Project Partners were also represented, each demonstrating their contributions to this project in their own way and with its own specialisms. This once again showed that all partners are complementary and ultimately capable of closing the circular loop. Within this project WEAR2GO is responsible for Textile Disassembly, Infrastructure and International rollout. The aim here is the development of fully circular high-quality high-vis clothing with special functionalities, following the Waterways and Public Works garments in the Netherlands. CircTex has already solved many technical bottlenecks and expects with all ‘lessons as learned’ to contribute in a structural way to the promotion of circular textiles.

Despite of all Covid-restrictions, this event was extremely well attended and visitors were enthusiastic about set-up and the substantive program.

Circular Textile Days will certainly be continued the next coming years!

An innovative microwave tunnel dryer is currently under construction and ready for the end of 2021. In less than 60 seconds it will be possible to disassemble a textile product in a simple and easy way.
